How do you make backgrounds in the text area?

Subject: Background override isn't working.
Feeling: bored Listening to: bored
I tried putting a background that someone made for me on my dj and it wouldn't work. I uploaded the background to my webpage on aol hometown and I typed in all the overrides but it didn't work. I had another override on there to begin with. It's a font override so I tried meshing them together like the FAQ says. I put the font first then the background override.

Did I mess up with the overrides? Could someone please tell me what I did wrong?

Thanks.

also...

when you make links and you type in "solid" "blur" "flip"..etc.. I was wondering if someone can give me a site that shows all the styles. I've only found mouse styles. Nothing about links. THANKS; again.

I was just wondering, how do you link to another Dead Journal user in an entry? I have tried this in an entry, but using the Live Journal code, so it didn't come out right.
