hey guys i really need some help...in my previous post i mentioned what i wanted for a layout. i dont really want anyone to make me one i just need some help with html codes....These are the things i want to do with my layout if anyone could help me witht the codes it's be greatly appreciated...
1. Background picture. How would i put it on there and have it on the left kinda?
2. Id like tables in dashed boxes for my entries
3. Scroll bars colored
4. Change the name of links for userinfo, friends, entries, mood, music, and comments
5. I saw someone with a heart between their date and time how would i do that?
6. Is there a way i can make my icon show up on all my entries?
7. A cross hair cursor
That's really all i know its a lot to ask, but im kinda new to this whole layout thing, even though im pretty good with html i cant seem to figure this out. Could someone help??

How might I get around to making my deadjournal layout to be squares (where the font goes in) and my writing to fit perfectly in it without having to scroll over? And how might i get around to making my icon show all the time, or it to be above the last entry? Hmm thankies

i just finished making a new style thing... and i made it with the side bar i wanted... but now my entries and everything [besides the side bar with links] wont show! does anyone know how i can fix this?

also... does anyone know how to make the links blur like they do on this page?

I was wondering if someone could help me with my background

1. How do I make it to where it is not tiled? but not all stretched out and crappy lookin.

2. How do i make it to where i have a little picture on like the other side of the page. Like how my entries are over to the right, how do i make a little picture be over to the left? (and again, not tiled)

(I'm not going to do both at the same time or nothing -heh, if that even possible- I just wanted to test each out and see which one i liked best)

okay 2 things, the first is,
:How do I make my entries transparent over my backround?
and the second is
:how do I Put my entries into a table?

Im trying to make my links do three different effects but I can only seem to get it to do two.

It looks like this in my overrides

a:hover { text-decoration:line-through; filter: blur; height:2;fliph; }

Did I merge them wrong or something becuz line through always works but for the blur n horizontal flip it depends on which one comes first (the first one works)

Hi I'm just recently deciding to change my journal layout. I wanted to do an angel theme, which really isnt the point. want a background picture, my posts on the right with here own little boxes, the scroll bars different colors, change the name of mood, comments, music, user info, friends, calendar, and memories; also how can i put a little heart or star between the date and time? and get rid of that awful banner on the top of my journal?...i think there is more i want to know but for now is this ok? Could someone help me? I know some html and im a quick learner i just dont know how its done on DJ. Thanx in advance.
